My paraphrase of how I have heard you define productivity is something like -

Productivity is NOT the more efficient cranking out of widgets but moving forward in the direction of your values.

But I don’t want to put words in your mouth. How do you define productivity? (Like, if I were to quote you. . .)

I’m not sure I have a great canned response ready, but to me Productivity = Intentionality. If you set aside an entire day just to play video games and that’s all you, that’s a productive day :slight_smile:

I’m like Mike. I don’t have a canned response. But thinking on my feet, I would say productivity is the act of progressing towards your mission. If your mission is to be the best swimmer, spending all day in the pool is productivity. If your mission is to encourage others through books, spending all day in the pool is procrastination.
